Here’s a snippet from the artist about her inspiration.
“Whoever chose Florence + The Machine’s Cosmic Love as the trailer music for Series 5 knew what they were doing. I only found this song a few days ago, and I’ve fallen in love with it, but not just because it’s a beautiful song. I think it accurately reflects the bond (romantic or not) that Amy and the Doctor share, particularly as it was in Series 5.”
I used to think Rogue had one of the more complex histories in the X-Men gang but Marvel has proved me wrong over and over and over.
Regardless, I heart this depiction of her along with the visages of her two biggest influences, Mystique and Gambit. Tis a collab between Jamie Fay and Rey Arzeno. Cheers, boys!
